Liberty Bell Diner

Welcome to Liberty Bell Diner

Halil Ceylan is a man for the people. With over 25 years in the business of feeding his customers, friends and family, he truly sets himself apart as to what a successful business man can and should be. He uses his family’s own from scratch recipes to attain the level of hearty consistency seen in his finished product. All of his dishes are designed to nourish the soul and body. He uses local and sustainable ingredients, when in season, to accomplish that end. His philosophy is big portions, fresh ingredients and everything made to order, just as if you were an invited guest sitting in his kitchen at home. When you are in the Liberty Diner, you are in fact his guest, and it is his pleasure to serve you with the help of his entire staff. Halil gives back to the community whenever he can, and always offers discounts to Police and Firemen, as he is truly grateful to them for the good work that they do each and every day. He is a down to earth, self-made man, who moved to this country from Turkey during turbulent times. He built a successful business with the help and hard work of his entire family. Halil is often quoted as saying that “No matter what hardship is thrust upon me, it does not matter, as I am still the most fortunate man in the world because I have the pleasure of spending my days with the closest of my family.” Many of The Liberty Diner’s dishes have earned praise over the years, but the stand out is clearly the Sweet Cracker Chicken, which is the signature dish of the family establishment. Halil invites his community to dine with him at his restaurant. The only thing he asks of his patrons is to bring their appetite, as even the Early Bird Specials are four course meals.

Great portions of food. Talk about bang for your buck. You will find it here. Friendly and smiling service. The folks working here all seem to be in a happy mood which is contagious. I'm a pancake guy and was not disappointed in the hotcakes.

I have been here before but not in awhile. I am pleased to say it’s how I remembered it: friendly people, good food, generous portions, etc. Everyone really enjoyed themselves! There was only one hiccup; I ordered the Iberian Fantasia and received the Shrimp and Scallops...

The food was great for the price and we even got dessert with it. The young waitress was very nice with us. My daughter took me out to lunch for my Last week in Philadelphia and I had a great time with her.
